Pat White

A interesting prospect in this years draft is Pat White. He is a quarterback from West Virgina who exceled in all four years as a starter. After his final college game many beleived he would be best suited to be a "slash." A slash is a college quarterback who transfered into a wide reciever. Antwaan Randal El made the slash famous when he successfully did a few years ago. However Pat White has insisted he will not play wide reciever in the pros and will continue playing quarterback. White performed extremely well at the combine and has drawn a lot of interest including that scouts from every NFL team went to his pro day workout. White has not done any recieving workouts so teams who consider drafting Pat White are taking a risk where he projects to be a second round pick. However, he could be of value to a team who has the time to develop and build a team around White skill if he falls to the late third round or beyond.
